ABOUT

Ancient Science

Indian Seers and Saints have made various scientific principles that were helpful for the progress of an individual and society. The sole aim of these principles was Human welfare. Indian society has sixteen rituals to perform from birth to death. These rituals are called the “ Solah Sanskar”. In addition, many other principles and by-laws were made for common individuals. The aim is that people can live their life with comfort and discipline. By following up these principles, one becomes pure, and it results in the progress of the Individual.

Astrology is said to be the eyes of Vedas. Astrology is used for performing any auspicious deed like puja, marriage, house construction, business etc.

In ancient times students used to stay at Teacher ‘s place ( Gurukul) and learn sixty-four types of Arts. Astrology was one among these sixty-four.

Astrology helps in reducing problems that arise due to deeds/misdeeds of previous births.

There is a difference between “Doing” and “Happening”. An individual performs a job or business. Doing is in the hands of an individual, while happening is not in the hands of the Individual. Therefore, an individual has to be careful in doing and should be happy with the result. Doing is the duty of an individual, but the results of this deed are in the hand of the Almighty.

An individual can do his deeds as per knowledge and guidance from Astrology. Like knowing the forecast of rain, the individual takes an umbrella with him while going out. Likewise, if, as per the horoscope of an individual, the partnership is not suitable for him, then the person can use this information and avoid it. In this way, Astrology can help an individual to know what is lying for him in future so that he can adjust himself and his deeds to get maximum returns.

Jyotish Acharya
Tej Rawat Vashisht

Every journey has a spark, a moment that shifts curiosity into a calling. For Acharya ji, that moment came unexpectedly aboard the Punjab Mail in 1983.

He was a young officer traveling from Bina, Madhya Pradesh to Deolali, Maharashtra sharing his AC two-tier compartment with a quiet family of three. The night passed uneventfully, but as morning broke and pleasantries began, something remarkable happened.

The gentleman across from him looked up and calmly stated, “You’re October 1959 born, correct me if I’m wrong.”
Startled, Acharya ji (then Captain in the Indian Army) replied, “Yes.”
The man continued, “First week or third week of October?”
Again, correct.
Then came the final detail: “Between 12 and 3 in the day?”
By now intrigued, Acharya ji confirmed with affirmation.

When asked how he knew, the man smiled and explained he was an astrologer. He spoke of planetary alignments, how Mercury was unusually close to Earth during that period, giving those born then a distinct radiance. He even pulled out a portable device, what today we’d call a laptop, and quickly charted a horoscope. “Nothing to worry,” he said reassuringly.

That moment, ordinary in setting, extraordinary in impact, stayed with Acharya ji long after the train journey ended. It sparked a lifelong quest to understand what the man had seen that day.

Over the next two decades, while serving with distinction in the Indian Army, Acharya ji quietly nurtured his curiosity. What began as self-study evolved into a deep academic pursuit. He earned multiple formal qualifications in astrology including:

  • Jyotish Shastri (2021)

  • Jyotish Acharya (2022)

  • KP Astrology Certification (2025, ongoing)

  • And is currently pursuing Vastu Shastra to complement his astrological practice.

His academic foundation is just as impressive, with a B.A. from JNU, a Postgraduate Degree in HRM from Lucknow University, and an Executive Management Certification from XLRI Jamshedpur—qualifications that shape his unique, human-centred approach to astrology.

Today, Acharya ji offers deeply personal, practical, and intuitive astrological guidance that blends Vedic wisdom with psychological insight and structured counselling, an approach honed through a life of service, study, and soul-searching.
